No care up yonder, there the skies are fair;
No tears up yonder, peace ev’rywhere;
No voice of weeping in that happy land,
No strife up yonder, God is in command.

No battles yonder, peaceful rivers flow;
No parting yonder, as here below;
No fear of evil stirs within the heart,
Thro’ endless ages friends ne’er have to part.

No longing yonder, hearts are satisfied,-
Nothing is wanting, no good denied;
Joy overflowing, souls are free from care,-
God’s full contentment waits for you up there.

Thank God for the Bible, the book that we love,
