Greetings from Wordwise Hymns. Your blog caught my eye because I posted an article on Mr. Poole's hymn the other day. All the best in the coming year. Indeed, "Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus," with the assurance, as the hymn says, that He is near.
